1. Members can occupy only one (1) category/profession during their membership.
2. If aspects of a Member’s business compete with other categories which the Member does not represent, the Member must not promote those aspects of their business within their Assembly or Troup Group.
3. Members are expected to maximise their ability to bring bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their Assembly Meeting of NOW Group by:
   • Using all training aids and content designed to enhance referral generation capacity and confidence. 
   • Pro-actively prospecting in support of the fellow members.
   • By engaging in adequate collegial engagement with fellow members. 
4. Members are expected to arrive at 'Slide Start' time to meetings and attend the full meeting until its conclusion or to inform facilitation where this is not possible.
5. If a Member cannot attend a meeting, they may send a non-member substitute in their place.
6. A Member is permitted two (2) absences over a period of three (3) months to their assigned 'Home Group'
7. Additional absences are permitted and a membership pause or early cessation can be facilitated in the following cases but the details of which must be submitted in writing to your Group Pioneer or NOW Group Community Liaison Staff here - [email protected]
   • Major social adjustment Life: relocations, loss, births. 
   • Chronic or acute personal affiliations 
   • Significant professional interruption. (example given: Redundancies, administration, financial crisis)
8. Only in exceptional circumstances and with the majority approval of the Assembly Leadership Staff, will extended leaves of absence be accepted for reasons that DO NOT prescribe to the above terms. In this case a long term absence will be reviewed and will immediately spark a 'member viability' enquiry to protect the Groups integrity. However NOW Group will do as much as possible to support it members current and past to ensure swift and fair resolution.  
9. The accepted period of leave will be determined and reviewed if necessary by the Assembly Leadership team in consultation with the Member and reviewed if necessary.
10. Where an extended period of leave is granted, all membership fees must be pre-paid for the Member’s period of leave and the Member is expected to make a concerted effort to secure a substitute for the period of leave.
11. Members who wish to change their HOME Group can autonomously at the NOW Passport page and the Assembly and Troup Group leadership team must approve the change.
12. Transferring HOME Group can be manually completed at the NOW Passport page but we do request a direct email acknowledgement is sent to

13. If a company is a Member, a single employee must be approved by the leadership team as the company’s representative. Secondary seats are granted at no extra cost to a single (1) account holder further seats are available at a small uplift fee of $25 a month (Grants access to Member Community and all full event schedule and the NOW NET_SYNC Onboard Phases)
14. Should the employee leave the company, the leadership team may at their sole discretion choose to grant membership to another employee of the company or retain the membership of the ex-employee. At this juncture category declaration must be remade. 
15. Any concerns any Member may have with an individual’s prospective membership must be disclosed in writing to the Assembly’s leadership team before the prospective membership is approved. Where no concerns are raised, the Assembly’s approval will be assumed.
16. NOW does not guarantee or endorse the capabilities or professional expertise of any of its members. Application documents IN REVIEW - However we do enforce a rigorous application and reference checking process.
17. NOW does not take or accept any responsibility or liability for disputes between members.
18. Should a Member fail to demonstrate good conduct and business practices and/or ailing commitment to their Assembly and Troup Group, the Assembly’s Leadership team may take such reasonable action that they, in their sole discretion, consider necessary. (Coach, review, repeat)
19. If resolution is not reached This includes but is not limited to placing a member on probation or terminating membership.
20. Membership must only be used for lawful and legitimate purposes only. Posting or publishing of any material which violates or infringes the rights of other members, or which is threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, profane, or otherwise objectionable, or which encourages illegal conduct is not permitted and is cause for immediate termination of membership without notice.
21. Any Member to be appointed to an incoming leadership team of any Assembly or Troup Group must have at least one (1) month’s membership in hand before commencing their leadership role.
22. Multi-level marketing businesses are not permitted to join the NOW group or partake in any Assembly meeting.
23. The contact details of other NOW members are provided solely for the purpose of giving referrals and must not be used for soliciting without the NOW members prior approval.
24. Subject to the approval of the NOW Groups’ leadership team and payment of the next quarter’s fees,
25. Members shall be entitled to extend their Membership for a further year. No Member is entitled to use the Intellectual Property of NOW to manufacture, distribute, sell, market, or promote any product or service without obtaining the prior written consent of NOW.
26. While you are a member of NOW and for a period of 6-months after you have ceased to be a member of NOW Group, you agree to the following 'fairplay' standards by completing this agreement and submitting the adjacent Web-form:
    • a) to ensure the following not to engage in recruitment, either directly or indirectly, with any group that competes with NOW in its current areas of operation (New Zealand and Australia)
    • b) Not to compete with NOW, either directly or indirectly, by taking employment with a competing networking group (existing relationships are grandfathered on declaration of signup)
    • c) That any documents, manuals or records (including copies) relating to NOWs business and trade secrets which are made by you or which come into your possession during the period of your membership of NOW shall be deemed to be the property of NOW Group, and shall be surrendered to NOW upon membership cessation.
